Welcome to the Effectiveness through Awareness Team Review

The Team Review is a simple and cost effective way of
finding out how to help your team be better at what it does

The Team Review is a very powerful diagnostic tool that can be used by team leaders and facilitators to support team building and team development sessions.

The Team Review was designed by Ian Clarke who is an organisational development consultant. Ian founded Effectiveness through Awareness in 1994 and has running team building sessions for many years.

The Team Review was originally created as a team diagnostic tool to help Ian work with teams who were interested in improving the way they worked. It very quickly developed into a low cost tool (£50 ex VAT) (about $95) that helps teams focus on the important issues.

How does the The Team Review work?

There are the 16 key characteristics that need a team leader's full attention if he/she wants to create an effective team:

1 Team Goals and Objectives
2 Personal Goals and Objectives
3 Utilisation of Resource
4 Trust and Conflict
5 Leadership
6 Controls and Procedures
7 Interpersonal Communications
8 Problem Solving & Decision Making
9 Experimentation & Creativity
10 Evaluation
11 Roles and Responsibilities
12 Support
13 Success
14 Customer Focus
15 Quality
16 Performance
No rocket science here! Just simple, basic and fundamental stuff that teams need to focus on to be effective.

Each team member, including the team leader, completes an online questionnaire about the 16 key characteristics. The questionnaire takes about 15 to 20 minutes to complete. The responses are analysed and collated into a Team Review that is emailed to the team leader or facilitator working with the team.

The Team Review helps the team leader/facilitator see the strengths and development areas of the team, as perceived by all the team members.

To help you obtain the most value from your Team Review there are links to online help which gives suggestions on how to maintain the team's strengths and address the team's development areas.

It's as simple as that!
